THE WWF OASIS OF MORIGERATI
The Bussento river disappears from the sight to flow underground for about 6 km to rise to the surface again near the Morigerati region. Since 1955 the reappearance of the Bussento river has been a WWF Oasis for protecting flora and fauna. THE CAPO PALINURO GROTTOES
Every day, these characteristic wooden fishing boats leave the village small dock for the Capo Palinuro grottoes: The Grotta Azzurra (Blue Grotto), the Grotta del Sangue (Blood Grotto), the Grotta dei Monaci (Monks Grotto), the Grotta d'Argento (Silver Grotto) and the Grotta Sulfurea (Sulphur Grotto) can be visited, alternating inlets and amazing colours, with a reinvigorating pause for a dive into the blue Palinuro sea.
